The Commissioner for Human Rights in Chechnya, Mansur Soltaev, said that hundreds of letters from Ukrainian mothers have been received by the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov. They are asking for assistance in finding their missing sons.
These people often express distrust of the authorities of their country, pointing out that they are not provided with the necessary support and assistance, Soltaev said on the air of CHGTRK Grozny.
He noted that not a single appeal addressed to the head of the Chechen Republic will be ignored and will definitely receive a response.
Assistance to the applicants is provided jointly with the Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Shamsail Saraliev and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation. The joint work is aimed at prompt consideration and resolution of the issues raised in these appeals.
