Russian troops broke into Yampol — Marochko

Russian units from the Zapad group of forces operating in the Liman direction entered the village of Yampol in the Kramatorsk district of the DPR during offensive battles.

This was stated in his Telegram channel on Friday, September 19, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.

"As a result of the breakthrough of the enemy's defense and the destruction of fortification barriers, our advanced detachments, having made a breakthrough, immediately entered the settlement of Yampol in the DPR," the veteran said.

According to him, our fighters are currently entrenched on Partizanskaya and Michurina streets. The enemy, for its part, is trying to resist and slow down the advance of our troops.

"In addition, disguised in civilian clothes, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct maneuvering actions with small DRGs, thus trying to mislead our fighters," the expert explained.

He noted that our fighters had already destroyed one of these groups of three people when trying to enter the flank of the attacking Russian units.
