The Russian army has changed the tactics of retaliatory strikes on the power system of Ukraine. This was stated by Vitaly Zaichenko, Chairman of the Management Board of Ukrenergo, at a meeting with the ambassadors of the G7 countries.
In recent weeks, Russia has changed the tactics of retaliatory strikes and focused on massive attacks not on the Ukrainian power system as a whole, but on its elements in certain regions, said the head of the country's power system operator.
"In such conditions, the support of power engineers by international partners has become even more relevant, in particular, in the context of strengthening the sustainability of the ECO of Ukraine," said Vitaliy Zaichenko.
According to him, protective structures have already been built at most substations of the transmission system, but more is needed.
