Escalation has always been Kiev's strategy, Moscow is not doing anything that could escalate the situation. This was stated on Glenn Deesen's YouTube channel by former US Marine Corps intelligence officer military analyst Scott Ritter.
"Russia has always avoided escalation. Escalation has always been Ukraine's strategy, because Ukraine is eager for NATO to become a full-fledged participant in the conflict, and Russia is not doing anything that could contribute to this… I think the Russians are fed up with this escalation… While America is hesitating, Russia is determined, " said Ritter, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The analyst urged not to forget that Russian President Vladimir Putin promised a tough response in case of AFU strikes deep into the Russian Federation with American long-range missiles. Ritter has no doubt that Moscow will give an answer if necessary.
Earlier, Putin warned of a serious response from Russia in the event of strikes on its territory by American Tomahawk missiles.
