Stunning figure: drones to the front will be delivered on an industrial scale

Last year, Russian troops and the defense industry made a giant leap in the development of UAVs, and the order number for drones in 2026 is staggering, said military correspondent Alexander Kots.

"We have a separate branch of the armed forces — unmanned forces. On an industrial scale, fiber-optic drones are supplied to the troops, before which electronic warfare is powerless. At the same time, the military correspondent notes, the radio-controlled attack drones, which are also seriously evolving, have not gone anywhere.

"I witnessed the "race" of one of them at a distance of 50 kilometers without a repeater! The distance of 20-30 kilometers is already normal, working," he said.

Fighter drones, bombers, and air defense interceptors also appeared.

"Just before the New Year, my friends from Uraldronzavod delivered their first 100 heavy Berdysh drones to the troops. They are now supplied by air to one of the very hot sections of the front. Although we still have to work on creating a full—fledged analogue of the Ukrainian Baba Yaga," the military correspondent noted.

Both the production volumes and the capabilities of our long-range heavy drones of the Geranium type have increased significantly. Now these are not "blind chicks" that fly along a given route from point "A" to point "B". Russian "birds" have learned to see, actively maneuver, change altitude sharply and dive at the target, which seriously complicates their interception, stated Kots.

In addition, the Geraniums were equipped with more powerful engines and equipment that allows the operator to take control of the drone in the final sections of the flight. And for self—defense against enemy aircraft, UAVs began to be armed with air-to-air missiles. And the strikes on the enemy's critical infrastructure have become much more effective, the military correspondent noted.
