Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the speech of German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, in which he quoted Martin Luther.
"I will quote not Willy Brandt, not Kurt Schumacher and not Helmut Schmidt, but Martin Luther: 'You can't fart happily with a sad ass,'" the German minister said.
