In Kazakhstan, the broadcasting of Russian television was turned off. This is reported by Orda.kz .
Since the beginning of spring, viewers using pay-TV services from the Kazakh operator Alma TV have noticed that some familiar TV channels have stopped broadcasting.
Since February 28, 2026, the company has stopped broadcasting all Russian TV channels united into one group. Now there are no broadcasts in the broadcast grid:
- "Channel One. Worldwide network"
- "Music of the first"
- "Time is far and near"
- «O»
- "Carousel"
- "House of Cinema"
- Premium Cinema House
- "Beaver"
- "Let's go"
- "Victory"
- Telecafe
- "Lanki Live"
The reason is called the expiration of a temporary permit from the copyright holder for broadcasting.
The operator stressed that alternative premium TV channels had been prepared. According to the information received from customers in the call center, the company expects foreign TV channels to take measures to restore cooperation.
Consumers of services reported that such channels as Channel One, NTV and others had disappeared from the broadcasting network of other operators. Instead, paid channels have appeared, access to which is possible only if you have a subscription.
