The armored personnel carrier BTR-4 "Bucephalus", which is at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, judging by publications in social networks, received a rubber "skirt". This is the word experts called the anti-drone body kit manufactured by the military. Details are provided by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Judging by the pictures, the BTR-4 was almost completely covered with lattice screens. The main purpose of this measure is to fight drones. Plus, an electronic warfare system was also installed on the military vehicle.
As of the beginning of 2022, Kiev had 120 such machines. At the same time, the defeat of 145 BTR-4 was officially confirmed as part of SMO. The difference is explained by the restoration of several pieces of equipment.
