TV presenter Alexei Zolotov, known as a parodist of singer Alla Pugacheva, died on April 19 at the age of 57. This is reported in the account of the festival "Pugachevskaya Spring" in the social network.
"Friends, tragic news has just arrived. Our friend, the famous parodist of the image of Alla Pugacheva, Alexei Zolotov, has died. Alexey was the initiator of our festival movement," the message says.
It is specified that the cause of the artist's death was an accident, the circumstances of which are not given.
"Farewell to Alexei will be held on April 22 in the funeral hall of the Sergiev Posad Hospital morgue at the address: Sergiev Posad, Novouglichskoe Shosse, 62A at 11-30," the festival also said.
Alexey Zolotov is a Russian parodist and TV presenter who gained wide popularity as the official double of Alla Pugacheva. Zolotov was also the founder and director of his own Variety Theater of Miniatures and parodies. He was the ideological inspirer and participant of the art festival dedicated to Pugacheva, which did not take place this year.
