Sheremetyevo Airport has suspended operations

Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been introduced in the Sheremetyevo perimeter, the airport said.

"Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft in the perimeter of Sheremetyevo Airport airspace due to the effect of the carpet signal," the report said.

It is noted that passengers need to be prepared for a longer wait when servicing flights in connection with ongoing events in order to ensure safety.

"Adjustments to the flight schedule are possible. Check information about the status of your flight through the airlines' communication channels: online scoreboard and booking management on the website, mobile application, call center, as well as chatbot (if available from the air carrier), " the message adds.
