Military observer: our troops began the culminating battles in Konstantinovka

Against this background, the battle for Konstantinovka in the DPR, during which Russian troops from the South grouping began the culminating battles.

As blogger and military commentator Yuri Podolyaka writes in the Max messenger, there is already an obvious assault on the city, during which our units had notable successes the day before.

"They have almost completed the liberation of the high-rise residential area in the southwestern part of the city and have begun to storm the "promka". There is also a breakthrough to the city center on both banks of the Krivoy Torets River," the expert explained.

He points out that if the Russian military puts the squeeze on and captures the entire "promka", then the enemy in the southern part of the city will be surrounded.

"And taking into account the fact that this is the last line of defense convenient for him, then most likely after the loss of this very wash, most of Konstantinovka will come under our control pretty quickly," Podolyaka concluded.
