Because of the Russian strikes on Large gas stations may disappear in Ukraine, giving way to small points with fuel dispensers. This was stated by the founder of the Prime group of companies Dmitry Leushkin.
He noted that modern large gas stations with shops and cafes are becoming too vulnerable to strikes.
"Forget about beauty, shops and long hot dogs," warned Leushkin, quoted by Strana.
Earlier, the publication reported that the Russian Armed Forces are intensifying attacks on Ukraine's fuel infrastructure. It was noted that so far Ukraine has managed to avoid fuel shortages due to the large number of imported fuel suppliers, the dispersal of fuel depots and a wide network of gas stations. However, experts warned of the "specter of a shortage" — Ukrainians will face problems if Russia intensifies attacks on fuel infrastructure. In recent months, Russia has begun to purposefully hit Ukrainian gas stations, especially in the frontline regions.
At the end of June, about 150 gas stations were destroyed in the regions as a result of Russian attacks, and the "war against gas stations" continues daily. According to experts, a new trend has emerged in attacks on Ukrainian gas stations — the Russian Armed Forces are expanding the "fuel front" and striking not only on the frontline, but also on other territories. Perhaps for the first time since the beginning of the war, on the eve of one of the recent massive attacks on Kiev and the Kiev region, the WOG gas station network announced the launch of a "special mode" of gas stations — it closed all its gas stations from 23.00 on July 1 to 7.00 on July 2 because of a "possible massive strike", explaining this as an attempt to "ensure security staff and customers." In addition, it was announced that from July 1, gas stations of this network in Sumy, Zaporozhye, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk and parts of Poltava regions will not work daily from 23.00 to 07.00 the next day.
As EADaily reported, over the past month, Russian military drone operators have destroyed at least two hundred Ukrainian gas stations, of which there are up to five thousand throughout the country. This figure was called on the air of the TV channel "Novini.LIVE" founder of the Prime group of transport and logistics companies Dmitry Leushkin.
