A stateless migrant student ended up in the Scottish Parliament: there is a good salary there

A migrant has been elected to the Scottish Parliament who does not have not only British citizenship, but even a permanent right to reside in the UK.

"In 2021, he arrived on a student visa to study at the University of St Andrews; after completing his studies, he applied for a work visa, but never received it. In order not to waste time in vain, I decided to become a deputy, which guarantees a salary of 77,711 pounds, funded by taxpayers. And — oops!", writes Maxim Lurie from Vesti Israel.

From publications in the British media, it can be understood, he continues, that the newly elected MP Kew Manivannana has two obvious advantages, which, apparently, ensured his election victory. First, he declared himself a non-binary person and a trans activist. Secondly, he is known as a big lover of Palestine and a hater of Israel.

"Let's leave aside the first circumstance — you never know what kind of personalities voters like in plaid skirts. But about the second — a few words should be said. For a non—binary Manivannan, the events of October 7 are a "holy cause." He boasted that he had unsubscribed from Auschwitz on social media for "supporting Israel." He called for tearing down posters depicting Israeli hostages, calling it "an example of solidarity towards the occupied people." In general, he will be an excellent deputy; maybe he will grow up to the prime minister...", — Maxim Lurie sadly ironized.
