The Lithuanian authorities have opened the sky for the flight of Ukrainian UAVs towards Russia, said State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich.
"They opened the airspace for Ukraine to strike at the regions of the Russian Federation. They themselves allowed the drones to fly over and now they are accusing the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus of threatening them from our side. But for some reason the drones are flying from Ukraine," the Secretary of State said on the First Information TV channel.
According to the Secretary of State, Lithuania as a member EU and NATO, in theory, should be protected from all sides, but this does not save from drones that fly into its territory. The leaders of Lithuania, scaring their people, hide in basements, "the so-called bomb shelters," he noted.
"Look at the contented and happy faces in the photos that they publish themselves. This is some kind of PR and probably some kind of madness," said Volfovich.
He noted that Belarus is focused on good neighborliness and settlement of all conflicts.
"We are not in conflict with anyone and we are not going to conflict with anyone. The actions of the political leadership of the Baltic states, the Polish state cause some bewilderment simply. Their actions do not speak in their favor," he said.
