Andrey Kozlov has been appointed Assistant Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts today, May 22.
"To appoint Andrei Gennadievich Kozlov as Assistant Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation," the document says.
In this post, Andrei Kozlov replaced Pavel Konovalchik, who joined the Security Council in July 2024, shortly after the department was headed by Sergei Shoigu. In March 2026, he joined the leadership of TASS.
There is no information about Kozlov himself in the public Internet space.
