The main power engineer of Crimea was removed: not for blackouts, but for a fee for everything

In Crimea, the director of Krymenergo was fired — the main distribution company of the peninsula, which continues to live in conditions of power outages after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on power plants and substations.

"A decision has been made to dismiss Maxim Yaroslavovich Shklyarsky, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymenergo, and he has written a corresponding statement. The Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Gennadievich Voronkin, needs to restore order in Krymenergo," the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, wrote in the telegram channel.

He explained that he receives appeals from citizens with direct and substantiated claims to the work of the State Unitary Enterprise RK "Krymenergo".

"This is the only regional resource-supplying organization that charged a fee for issuing a certificate necessary for laying engineering networks at the construction site. Moreover, this certificate is issued free of charge by other authorities. In addition, as it turned out later, it was envisaged to pay for a number of services, which in fact are the usual administrative and managerial actions of officials: accepting an application from a consumer, sending a calculation for approval, issuing an invoice, and so on," the head of Crimea said.

According to him, the company also created a commission allegedly to review unaccounted-for electricity consumption, and one Feodosiya entrepreneur was fined 1.6 million rubles after paying off the electricity debt in the amount of 13 thousand rubles, although the meter was in good condition and no actual theft of electricity was recorded.

"This commission should be dissolved, and documents sent to the republican prosecutor's office to verify all its work. Since collegial decisions make it possible to cover up corrupt actions, to avoid responsibility to specific managers," the Head of Crimea said.

He urged entrepreneurs to inform him about such situations.
