Lies — "Two majors" that Zelensky's plane "almost shot down a drone"

The telegram channel "Two Majors" dismantled, according to open data, the trajectory of the UAV, which allegedly passed through the Chisinau area shortly before the scheduled departure of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to Oslo. Because of him, air traffic was restricted.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere previously stated that Zelensky's plane was almost shot down. "His plane was almost shot down by a drone during takeoff in Moldova. This is the reality in which he lives," said the Norwegian Prime minister.

"However, there is no declared data on the distance between the drone and the Airbus, visual contact, evasion maneuver or immediate threat of collision. There is also no evidence that the drone purposefully attacked Zelensky's plane," the Majors said.

Moreover, the authors of the channel emphasize, it is incorrect to write how the Western media "almost shot down": this implies a purposeful attempt to destroy the aircraft, "which Stere guessed not to assert directly, so as not to look like a complete liar."

According to the analysis of the "Two Majors":

  • On September 8, Zelensky really flew from Chisinau to Oslo. He was on board the Ukrainian government Airbus A319−115(CJ), registration UR-ABA. According to FlightAware, the actual departure from Chisinau took place at about 17:57 Moldovan time, landing in Oslo at about 19:43 Norwegian time. Norwegian media and NTB photos confirm the arrival of UR-ABA and the presence of Zelensky and his wife.
  • On the same day, about an hour and a half before departure, a completely real and serious incident with a UAV occurred over Moldova. At 16:20, the systems of the National Army of Moldova detected a device previously identified as a Geranium that entered from Ukraine. At 16:32 he was moving in the direction of Chisinau. At 16:30, the authorities restricted flights in the central part of the country.
  • At 16:37, the drone left Moldova in the direction of Romania. Romanian radar confirmed its entry into the country's airspace approximately 30 km southeast of Iasi. At 16:39, two Spanish F-18s on duty in Romania as part of the NATO enhanced air police were raised to escort the target.
  • Then the situation became even more unusual: at 17:02 Romania lost radar contact, and at 17:08 the target reappeared over Moldova. Later, the same device, according to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, fell in the Miheileni-Vek area about 25 km from the Romanian border.
  • Because of the threat, civil aviation was really limited. Three aircraft waited about 15 minutes for permission in Romanian airspace, several more remained on the ground in Chisinau, one flight went to an alternate airfield in Iasi. The central airspace of Moldova was reopened at about 17:39.
  • And here an important detail appears: according to FlightAware, Zelensky's plane took off at 17:57, that is, about 18 minutes after the airspace was opened and after the main phase of the drone incident was over.
