Azerbaijani Consul Ramil Rza oglu Imranov was killed in a traffic accident in Tabriz, Iran. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on May 23.
"We are deeply shocked by the news that our esteemed colleague-diplomat, Ramil Rza oglu Imranov, who held the post of consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tabriz, died as a result of a traffic accident," the telegram channel said.
It is noted that the incident occurred on the Julfa-Tabriz highway near the village of Marand.
