The experimental cancer vaccine Amivantamab has demonstrated unprecedented results, providing complete regression of malignant tumors in a number of patients.
This was reported on the eve of the British newspaper The Guardian. According to the publication, international clinical trials of the drug took place in 11 countries. It was used in patients with relapse of the disease, as well as in cases where other methods of treatment did not work.
"In the study, 102 patients with head and neck cancer, the sixth most common type of cancer in the world, were vaccinated. Tumors shrank or completely disappeared in 43 patients, including 28 in whom tumors shrank significantly, and 15 in whom they were completely destroyed, "the publication says.
Recall that in Russia is also conducting successful research to create an effective vaccine to combat cancer.
