Z-bloggers of the telegram channel "Two Majors" have sharply criticized how the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is served by the Russian authorities — "idiotic statements", dancing with a tambourine around a "real American citizen", vulgar jokes about the next "turning congress of the CPSU" — all this causes a sharp rejection among Russians.

"Strange times. It's as if the federal executive authorities are trying to discredit themselves," the authors of the TC write. — Ukrainians publish burnt fuel trucks, and on SPIEf — dancing with a tambourine around a "real American citizen" and frankly idiotic statements.

No one says that SPIEF is not important. It is necessary to fight for something, and the war consumes a huge amount of money every day.

The question is why 2 topics do not fit in the minds of decision-makers at once: SMO and SPIEF.

After all, both are objective reality. And the coverage of only SPIEF with a silly shade of vulgar jokes about the next "turning congress of the CPSU" causes a sharp rejection among the population.

As EADaily reported, the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, is absent from SPIEF, the official reason is sick leave. Earlier, her name was removed from the list of speakers of the session "How to return to the trajectory of sustainable economic growth in the face of global uncertainty."

Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov noted that "an official American delegation will arrive at the SPIEF for the first time in several years." According to him, it will be headed by the head of the commission of the US Presidential Administration on fine Arts Rodney Mims Cook. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that he "does not know about the official delegation that went there [to St. Petersburg]."

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place from 3 to 6 June. The main theme is "Pragmatic dialogue is the way to a stable future." The program of the forum is devoted to the formation of a new model of global development in the context of the transformation of the world economy.
