In response to attacks on civilian infrastructure in order to "divide society," Russia will intensify attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting in the Kremlin with SMO participants.
"We have to answer them properly. And we are doing this and will increase our strikes on the enemy's infrastructure," the Russian leader said.
Russia will do this in order to "discourage the desire to attack civilian targets."
"We will do it with more and more opportunities. They are serious and will only increase as the capabilities of the defense and industry of the Russian Federation grow," Putin stressed.
He also said that Kiev will not be able to divide Russian society or cause significant damage to the Russian economy. The attacks on Russian facilities did not lead to serious consequences for the country, the president noted.
"Everything is recovering quickly, they will not be able to create any serious problems for us," Putin said.
As reported by EADaily, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a telephone conversation that the Russian Armed Forces were launching systemic strikes on Kiev. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Lavrov and Rubio spoke on the phone today. The Russian Foreign Minister brought the information to the United States on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.
