In the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, a tragedy has occurred caused by fatal negligence. A young woman died during an extreme rope jump after the attraction staff forgot to fasten her safety cable.
According to the G1 portal, the organizers brought the girl to the edge of the platform and dropped her down. She was wearing only a protective helmet. The very same safety system, designed to keep a person, was not involved.
As a result, a jump from a great height ended in death. Law enforcement agencies have already launched an investigation into this case. It remains to be found out why the staff ignored the basic safety rules, and who will be responsible for this fatal mistake.
