US President Donald Trump expressed hope for a harsh sentence to his former national security adviser John Bolton.

The corresponding post was published by the head of the White House in his social network Truth Social. In this way, he reacted to the fact that Bolton pleaded guilty to improper handling of classified documents.

Trump spoke sharply about his former adviser. He called Bolton "an extremely narrow-minded, unbalanced and incompetent former US representative" who only wanted to incite conflicts and wars.

He called his former assistant a "stupid, incompetent and unbalanced conductor of death" who "only wanted to incite conflicts and wars."

Recall that Bolton, justifying his reputation as a "hawk", opposed ending the war in Iran. He called the negotiations with Tehran a strategic mistake, and accused Trump himself of lacking a strategic vision.

Earlier, EADaily reported that former national security adviser to US President Donald Trump, John Bolton, pleaded guilty in court to violating the rules for working with classified data.
