In Ukraine, they are analyzing the consequences of the Russian night-time massive retaliatory strike, which, according to Kiev sources, turned out to be very effective.
The Ukrainian military observer Bogdan Miroshnikov shared his observations with the publication Strana. According to him, the main feature of the night attack on Kiev was the massive use of reactive "Geraniums".
"The attack was super—complicated," the expert stated.
He noted that for the first time these UAVs were used on such a scale. This practically nullified the opposition from mobile air defense groups, which are designed to shoot down drones.
In addition, Russian troops again launched Iskander ballistic missiles, S-400 and Zircon missiles in one salvo. According to Miroshnikov, this also significantly complicates the work of the Ukrainian air defense.
Especially when you consider that the Russians are actively using the so-called "light ballistics" as false targets. They cause "fire on themselves" from the enemy's air defense systems.
According to the calculations of the Ukrainian observer, about 60 missiles of various types and more than 100 jet drones were launched in Kiev last night alone.
After the main waves of attack, the city also continued to be attacked with separate missiles, jet drones and barrage ammunition of the "Parcel" type.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
