The popular Russian artist will receive almost a billion in just three concerts

Singer and composer, Honored Artist of Russia Leonid Agutin has sold tickets for three of his summer concerts totaling 844 million rubles. This is reported by the portal Ura.ru .

One of the concerts has already been held on July 4 in Yekaterinburg.

"Ticket sales amounted to 114.63 million rubles. With a full sold out, the organizers could get 122.41 million rubles. 2,438 tickets worth 10.78 million rubles remained unsold," the newspaper notes.

At the same time, VIP lodges for 300 thousand rubles were completely sold out.

The highest-grossing concert of the artist will be a show in Moscow, which is scheduled for July 18. So far, tickets have been sold for a total of 666.99 million rubles. If all tickets are sold, the organizers will receive about 696 million rubles.

A concert is also planned in Sochi on July 25. Now tickets for the concert have been sold for a total of 62.96 million rubles, if all tickets are sold, the income under this article will amount to 78.05 million rubles.

"If both upcoming concerts are sold out, their total revenue will be 774.06 million rubles, and the total box office of the three concerts will reach 896.46 million rubles," the publication says.

As EADaily reported, Agutin criticized the conduct of a special military operation, and also appeared among the participants of a concert for Ukraine in March 2022.

His song was played as part of the U For Ukraine concert on March 20, which was broadcast on YouTube. Later, the artist's press service denied the fact of support for Ukraine. Agutin himself that day performed a concert in Tyumen, and the recording of the song with his participation was filmed long before the SMO began and was broadcast without his consent.

Activists have repeatedly demanded the cancellation of Agutin's concerts. So, in 2024, Agutin's concert in Omsk was demanded to be canceled by activists of the Council of Atamans of the Cossack People. The Council stressed that they were approached by a group of people who demand protection from "pro-Western, liberal ideology that undermines the foundations of the Russian world from the inside."

On the eve of the concert of Agutin and his wife Angelica Varum in Togliatti On February 23, the telegram channel "UralLive" resembled the dubious statements of the artist, but the concert took place anyway.
