The dismissed doctor called, which is why Pashinyan starts screaming and pushing

Nikol Pashinyan shouts at the mother who lost her son

Arpine Soghoyan, an obstetrician-gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience, was fired from a polyclinic in Armenia after she called him a "thief of the Motherland" during a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to Soghoyan, she accidentally found out that the Prime Minister was going to visit her district. The meeting was supposed to take place near her house. She went to the meeting consciously, knowing perfectly well what she was doing. However, according to her observations, all these meetings of Pashinyan with the people are a pre—prepared production. She was denied access to the premiere three times. Only when she said that she wanted to greet her Prime Minister, Pashinyan allowed her to pass, Soghoyan said on Channel Five.

"In a sense, I managed to deceive him and thus get closer to him. From the very first words I said, he realized that I had not come with good intentions at all. I called him a thief of the Motherland," the doctor said.

According to her, there are words that instantly throw Pashinyan off balance: Homeland, patriotism, Ararat. The head of government began shouting, waving his arms, pushing, and his supporters and guards prevented the woman from speaking out. But she had already said what she wanted to say. Sanctions followed 40 minutes after the meeting.

It took about 40 minutes after the incident, and Soghoyan was reprimanded. Then, for two months, she was jokingly and seriously told: "It's better to resign of your own accord." She replied that she was not going to do this. Two weeks ago, she received an official notification about the upcoming reduction. The basis is the introduction of a universal health insurance system and a reduction in the number of attached patients, in connection with which it is allegedly necessary to reduce staff.

The doctor considers these arguments absurd. She doubts that the number of patients served can be the basis for reducing her rate… Job offers from Soghoian is already there. She has always maintained active contact with the hospital, continues to be on duty, so she does not think that she will have difficulties with employment.

"Against the background of those irreparable losses that our country has experienced, I do not think that this is what should break a person, make him retreat or abandon his beliefs," the woman answered the question about the severity of job loss.

She added that she does not regret what she has done and does not consider the reduction to be a real tragedy.

"Another thing can be considered a real loss — I lost my Homeland, I lost my brother. And today I am losing my job only because I spoke out against this injustice. I am ready to continue my struggle in the name of justice and strengthening our statehood," the doctor concluded.
