The management of the Dynamo Kyiv football club recommended its fans not to attend the away match with Greek PAOK in the Europa League: the club refused the guest quota of tickets.
"This decision was made for the safety of spectators, taking into account the possible risks of provocations and conflict situations before, during and after the match between PAOK and Dynamo in Greece. We ask you to treat this with understanding," the club said in a statement.
The first match of Dynamo and PAOK will play today, July 23 in Lublin, Poland, the replay will take place in Greece on July 30.
It should be borne in mind that PAOK fans are "leftists" and maintain friendly relations with fans of CSKA Moscow. And fans of Dynamo Kyiv are considered ultra-right and "drown" for Bandera.
The conflict situation is further aggravated by the fact that the owner of PAOK is a Russian-Greek businessman Ivan Savvidi, a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the United Russia party. In 2022, Ukraine imposed sanctions against him, and in 2024, VAX confiscated his Ukrainian assets.
