Almost the entire territory of Georgia, including Tbilisi, was left without electricity, the reasons are still unknown.
According to local media, the blackout extends to most of the country, including the capital. In social networks, users from almost all corners of Georgia also report a power outage.
RIA Novosti was informed about the power outage by residents of Batumi, Guria, Samegrelo, Racha, Dusheti region (near the Georgian Military Road). In Tbilisi, traffic lights and street lighting stopped working on the central streets.
The reasons for the large-scale failure are still unknown. The media suggest that a major accident could have occurred at any power plant. The Emergency Service does not have the information.
