As a result of several years of periodic strikes on the bridge in the settlement of Zatoka, Odessa region, the span finally collapsed in the northern part of an engineering structure that is extremely important for the logistics of the enemy, Military Review reports.

Since 2022, this bridge has been repeatedly hit by Iskander, X-59MK2, FAB with UMPK, Geraniums and even BEC. However, previous attempts to disable the lifting mechanisms and supports of the railway bridge gave only a short-term effect. Each time the bridge was repaired and put back into operation. Now, after the collapse of one of the spans, if the strikes on the bridge continue, it will be extremely difficult for the enemy to repair it, the report says.

In addition, Ukrainian publics write that the Russian Armed Forces regularly hit the region with guided aerial bombs — reports that fabs with UMPC are flying to Chernomorsk or Zatoka began to appear in alerts of the AFU Air Forces and profile Telegram channels. Enemy resources fear that the port infrastructure of the Odessa region is threatened with much greater damage by powerful aerial bombs than previous strikes by missiles or drones.

According to the Ministry of Defense, during the day the Russian Armed Forces attacked ports, sea vessels and transport infrastructure of Ukraine, involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the air attacks, tanks with fuel and lubricants in the port of Odessa and a sea tug converted for the use of unmanned boats, located in the port of Nikolaev, were hit.
