The "military Informant", for its part, also reports that Ukraine has adopted the Alexa Spatium interceptor drone, which is supposed to fight the Geranium-3, Geranium-4 and Geranium-5 kamikaze drones.
"At the same time, the key characteristics of the interceptor, such as maximum speed, range and ceiling of operation, are not disclosed, so the real capabilities of the anti—aircraft drone are not clear," the "Informant" emphasizes.
In mid-August, the Ukrainian media reported that on Ukraine has begun combat tests of the first jet interceptor drones designed to combat Russian rocket "Shaheds". This was stated by the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov. According to him, Russia is gradually moving from conventional drones to jet versions, which requires Ukraine to accelerate the introduction of new countermeasures.
Fedorov noted that during the year the Ukrainian Brave1 platform provided grants to manufacturers, helped to test and analyze various developments, and several Ukrainian companies created their own jet interceptor drones. One of these devices is capable of reaching speeds of over 600 km / h and is currently undergoing combat tests, the ex-minister said.
