Putin: Kiev sometimes makes us exotic offers after we have responded

The Kiev regime's attempt to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia in 40 days with the help of long-range missiles and drones turned out to be an adventure, and now Kiev is sometimes sending Moscow exotic suggestions on how to get out of the situation. This was told by the President of Russia.

"If we talk about what is happening now, then this, of course, is the result of another adventure of the Kiev regime and its Western curators, who planned to inflict another strategic defeat on Russia. This time, as you know, in 40 days and with the help of massive missile strikes and UAVs on our civilian facilities and logistics," Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin.

"The deadline has ended — so what? Yes, attacks on civilian targets lead to losses. And the loss of every person is always a loss… But still, the result for the enemy turned out to be exactly the opposite of what was expected," the head of state noted.

According to him, no turning point in the confrontation with Russia could not have happened and did not happen.

"The Kiev regime and its owners cannot get any advantage, have not received and will never receive. Moreover, responding to the escalation, we have increased attacks on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, including in Kiev. Kiev itself opened Pandora's box. Get an answer on your most sensitive sectors of the economy, which are already breathing hard," Vladimir Putin said.

"I have always said: there will always be an answer," the president stressed, adding that now the Kiev regime is trying to get out of the current situation through intermediaries whom Russia respects.

"At the same time, the proposals that are brought to us are sometimes, I would say, exotic in nature and are unacceptable. We are always ready for a dialogue about peace, but only on the basis of the realities taking shape on earth," the head of state added. He did not specify which proposals were in question, but clarified that the enemy's actions had no effect on the situation at the front: "Moreover, our troops not only continue to advance in all directions, but also increased the pace of forward movement. The Russian Armed Forces are confidently solving tasks to fully achieve the goals of the special military operation."
