Russia has received a proposal for a temporary cessation of strikes on Kiev through the channels of the special services and the Foreign Ministry, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the Kremlin.
Putin's talks with Witkoff and Kushner began in the Kremlin on the evening of September 5. Putin noted that since midnight on September 5, the Russian Armed Forces have not struck Kiev.
"This request came to us through official channels: through the channels of the special services and through the channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," RIA Novosti quoted Putin as saying.
Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow today, then they will follow to Kiev.
