The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, demanded that Russia cease-fire. She stated this in the social network X.
"Today, 51 countries have united in the UN General Assembly to support Ukraine. Since March 2025, Ukraine has agreed to a complete, immediate and unconditional cease-fire. We call on Russia to finally do the same. Ukraine wants peace. We want peace. Russia must stop its aggression, agree to a cease—fire and begin constructive negotiations in order to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in accordance with international law," Kallas writes.
As reported by EADaily, Ukraine agreed to a full, immediate and unconditional cease-fire and called on Russia to do the same. This was stated on the sidelines of the session of the UN General Assembly in In New York, the country's Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga.
Recall that Russia will not pause in the special operation for negotiations in any format. This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
