The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that diesel prices are rising not because of strikes on Russian refineries, but because of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. He expressed his opinion in an interview with Fox News.
So he commented on the accusations of US President Donald Trump that the jump in fuel prices on the world market was caused by missile defense strikes against Russian refineries, demanding that they stop.
"First of all, everyone understands that the prices of diesel fuel do not depend on our strikes on Russian facilities related to the production of diesel fuel. Everyone understands that it depends on the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz. So it's understandable," Zelensky said, grinning, quoted by Donald Trump in Russian.
In addition, he commented on Trump's call to change the president to Ukraine.
"If Trump wants to change the leader to Ukraine, he should know that only our people can change the leader," the head of the Kiev regime stressed.
As reported by EADaily, the energy truce announced by Donald Trump presupposes the mutual refusal of Ukraine and Russia from attacks on refineries. This was reported by Axios with reference to a representative of the White House.
