APU attacks on Moscow are intensifying — the latter has broken the autumn record

The attempt of the APU drone attack on Moscow this night was one of the most massive since the beginning of autumn. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the data of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to the mayor, in the period from 20.30 Monday to 07.00 Tuesday, 417 UAVs flew towards the Moscow region. Most of them were neutralized by air defense forces on distant approaches, 65 drones were destroyed on approach to the capital.

From the evening of October 9 to the morning of October 10, 403 UAVs were destroyed on distant approaches, and 25 on approach to the capital. In addition, from the evening of September 19 to the morning of September 20, 1.6 thousand drones were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense, 450 of them on approach to the capital.

The most massive attack on Moscow in the summer of 2026 was on August 17-18, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched 620 drone planes, most of them were eliminated on distant approaches, and 180 were destroyed on the territory of the Moscow region.
