British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, during talks with Volodymyr Zelensky, promised to develop new military equipment for Ukraine, the Prime minister's office said.
Burnham and Zelensky held talks in London on Wednesday. Before the meeting, the British authorities pledged to speed up the delivery to Kiev of multi-purpose missiles for air defense "Martlet" (Lightweight Multirole Missile, LMM).
"The Prime Minister said that the UK will continue to develop innovative military solutions for use on the battlefield in Ukraine, including equipping the equipment provided by other partners with British technologies," Downing Street said in a statement.
Burnham also discussed the supply of British long-range missiles and diplomatic efforts to support the supply of weapons to Kiev by other countries.
