The Russian Central Election Commission has counted votes from 99% election commissions at the Russian presidential election. Current president Vladimir Putin is in the lead with 76.65% of the votes (55.403mn people voted for him).
The second is the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) Pavel Grudinin with 11.82%. The third in the list is the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky (5.68%).
He is followed by the candidate from the Civil Initiative party Ksenia Sobchak (1.66%), Grigory Yavlinsky from the Yabloko Party (1.04%), Boris Titov from the Party of Growth (0.75%), Maxim Suraikin from The Communists of Russia party (0.68%), and Sergey Baburin form The Russian People’s Union (0.65%).
