Russia has never refused and does not refuse to negotiate with Ukraine, but Moscow will not make any territorial concessions to the Kiev regime.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, during her speech at a press conference following the session of the Upper House of Parliament.
Thus, Matvienko confirmed the terms of peace talks with Ukraine, which were put forward on June 14 by the President of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Putin.
According to them, a peaceful dialogue can be initiated only after the Ukrainian troops leave the territories of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions within their administrative borders.
"Our Constitution prohibits any kind of alienation of the territory of the Russian Federation. This is what everyone needs to hear, and there cannot and will not be any territorial concessions on these four reunified territories," the Senate speaker concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the military command of the Kiev regime is preparing an autumn counteroffensive operation, which should allow Ukraine to enter the negotiating track as the winner.
