The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia has put under control a check on information about a possible violation of migration legislation in Khabarovsk, the Dvhab Internet resource reports today, August 22.
"Information has been received that on Chernomorskaya Street in the city of Khabarovsk, under the guise of building a private house, the construction of a mosque has been organized, where religious events are held with the participation of persons illegally staying on the territory of the Russian Federation," the UK reported.
In SU SK Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and The Jewish Autonomous Region has launched a procedural check on this fact.
"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin put the course of the procedural check under control at the central office of the department and instructed the acting head of the SU IC Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and The Jewish Autonomous Region Sergey Stepanov to submit a report on its interim results and the decision taken as a result," the department said.
The execution of the order and the course of the procedural inspection are put under control at the central office of the department.
Recall that in March, an expanded meeting was held in Khabarovsk on the construction of the city's first cathedral mosque, which was attended by leaders of national communities professing Islam. The meeting was chaired by the Mufti of the Far East, Ahmad Hazrat Garifullin.
