Hezbollah fired about ten rockets into Israeli territory, the army of the Jewish State said in a telegram channel. Sirens were turned on in the north of the country.
"About 10 shells were found flying from Lebanon to Israeli territory. Most of the shells were intercepted," the military noted.
The wreckage of one of the intercepted missiles fell in the Nazareth area, The Times of Israel reported. The newspaper, citing doctors, writes that one man in his 60s was slightly injured by shrapnel after being intercepted. At the same time, the publication calls the attack "the largest rocket attack on Israel by Hezbollah since the beginning of the war in October" 2023.
Hezbollah itself announced the launch of hundreds of missiles towards Israel, according to a message on its telegram channel.
"Some of them were large—caliber," RBC quotes the message.
