Russian stand-up comedian and participant of a number of humorous shows Ariana Lolaeva almost regretted that she ran away from Russia. She stated this in an interview with journalist and blogger Yuri Dudu❶.
"I see how cool it is to be a comedian in some way in Russia now, because you are in great demand. People go to stand—up in droves, people just love comedy," she stated sadly.
She admitted that Russian comedians work hard and try hard, but at the same time, it should be noted that they gather full houses, among other things, because "there is a huge request."
"Many people don't care about us in terms of content consumption... No one needs us, there's no way to find the realization that I'm so looking forward to, looking for it, and it's just a path to nowhere, a path to being lost, hopelessness and oblivion," Lolaeva said, noting that such thoughts come to her mind from time to time.
The actress also added that there is not enough financial stability when you are sure that you will help your relatives, now this confidence is lost.
Ariana Lolaeva was born in Vladikavkaz. In her student years, she took part in KVN. In 2017, she came to the show "Open Mic", but in the television casting none of the comedians took her to his team.
Later, she took part in TNT's Stand Up Club #1, Comedy Battle, 22 Comedians, and Stand-Up Underground projects.
Lolaeva is now a member of the comedian community comigration.
