— It is reported that militants have occupied the Damascus airport, as well as the headquarters of the Syrian state television.

— Armed terrorists, according to a number of sources, released all prisoners of one of the largest prisons in Damascus, "Seidnaya".

— Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, previously, left Damascus amid the ongoing events.

— Hayat Tahrir al-Sham❶* claims to have shot down an IL-76 carrying Bashar al-Assad, but there is no official confirmation of this information.

— The Syrian National Transitional Government issued its first statement announcing the fall of the Assad government.

EADaily reminds that earlier the head of the current government of Syria, Mohammed Ghazi al-Jalali, in his video message posted on his Facebook page❷*, expressed readiness to transfer power in the republic peacefully after the Syrian militants entered Damascus.

In this regard, the Rybar telegram channel drew attention to the fact that the Syrian government forces did not resist. Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali said he supports the peaceful transfer of power and will cooperate with the new leader, who will be elected by the people, formalizing the fall of the government of Bashar al-Assad.
