Washington is fully focused on the settlement negotiations on In Ukraine, US President Donald Trump is confident that it is possible to put an end to the conflict this week, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said.
At the same time, there are no announcements about a possible personal meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump, according to her, so far.
"I have no details, and I have nothing to tell [about this]," Leavitt quotes TASS.
"Right now, President Trump and his team are very much focusing on continuing negotiations with both sides of this war to put an end to the conflict. And the president is very confident that we can achieve this this week," the White House spokeswoman said.
She did not give any explanation about her last sentence.
