American actor and wrestler Hulk Hogan (Terry Gene Bolea) has died at the age of 72. This is reported by the TMZ portal.
According to the publication, the cause of death was cardiac arrest. Hogan's body was found in his home in Clearwater. The publication did not specify the circumstances of the actor's death.
Hogan began his career in wrestling in 1977 and remained one of the brightest stars of this sport for more than 30 years. In 1983, he signed a contract with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE).
Hogan also became one of the most recognizable wrestlers due to his appearance in films. The debut on the cinema screens took place in 1982 in the film "Rocky 3". He also starred in the films "Without rules", "Thunder in Paradise", "Strongman Santa Claus", as well as the TV series "Cool Walker" and "Rescuers of Malibu".
