The summit with the leader of the United States Donald Trump will be another victory for Russian President Vladimir Putin. The New York Times writes about this.

"A meeting with Trump would be another small victory for Putin," the publication says.

If it takes place, it will be the first face-to-face summit between the American and Russian presidents in more than four years, the newspaper notes.

Vladimir Putin also confirmed today the possibility of meeting with Donald Trump next week and called the United Arab Emirates, with whose leader he had previously held talks, a "suitable place" for them.
