Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, of Windsor mansion moves from Royal Berkshire to Sandringham. This is reported by the BBC, citing sources.
Andrew is actually exiled to local Siberia, the BBC reports.
"The brother of King Charles III of Great Britain, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was called Prince Andrew until Thursday, will move from Windsor to the royal Sandringham estate, sources told the BBC. It is assumed that Andrew's accommodation will be paid for from the king's personal funds — without the participation of taxpayers, " the publication says.
Andrew's new residence is located about 225 km northeast of his Windsor mansion. The king stripped Andrew of the title of prince and other remaining titles and honors and asked to vacate the mansion because of new details about his connections with convicted pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Prior to this, many assumed that Andrew would simply change the house inside the Windsor estate, royal biographer Robert Hardman told the BBC.
"But no, he leaves this territory, he leaves Windsor, leaves the royal Berkshire — he was actually exiled along the M-11 highway to the royal analogue of Siberia so that he could spend the rest of his life in Sandringham," said Hardman.
