Germany is not yet ready for a possible war with Russia. This is reported by Bild with reference to the pessimistic report of the Bundeswehr.
"The special report of the Bundeswehr, prepared by 200 experts (including military and medical personnel), gives the first gloomy assessment of emergency preparedness and points to urgent steps that need to be taken. In the worst-case scenario, about 1,000 wounded soldiers, plus civilian casualties, will be in Germany every day. Experts predict a serious physical and psychosocial burden on doctors and other patients," the newspaper writes.
In addition, a shortage of medicines is expected, an increase in infectious diseases in the event of a possible invasion, as well as a shortage of blood and dressings.
"The country should prepare for targeted enemy attacks on hospitals and doctors," the report says.
According to experts, currently the German medical system is moderately ready. At the same time, it is noted that there are unclear areas of responsibility, vulnerable supply chains, and uncoordinated communication channels. At the same time, pharmacies do not stock enough medicines, no one knows exactly which doctors are available or involved in the reserve.
Recall that Russophobia in Germany has reached its peak in the last few years. The current leadership of the country deliberately scares the population with a possible war with Russia in order to keep the authorities in their hands. At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly stated that such statements are nonsense, and Russia is not going to attack anyone.
