The second round of talks in Abu Dhabi demonstrated the existence of a common foundation for further progress in resolving the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"The two rounds of negotiations that took place in Abu Dhabi allowed for meaningful and constructive negotiations and showed the existence of a common basis on which to build a further process," Al Nahyan said in a statement quoted by RIA Novosti.
The UAE is ready to continue to provide an appropriate atmosphere for negotiations that will help bring points of view closer and support peaceful solutions, the minister stressed.
