Europe must convince the United States that Ukraine is not losing the war to Russia. This was stated in an interview with the Swedish TV channel SVT by the President of Finland Alexander Stubb.
This is important for Kiev to gain a more advantageous position in the negotiations, he explained.
"So that the Americans understand that Russia is not winning this war. This will give Ukraine a much stronger position in the negotiations," Stubb said, quoted by Rulehti.
The Finnish president added that a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia is still far away, but "not because of Ukraine, but because of Russia."
As reported by EADaily, Finland is trying to create the strongest Arctic forces in NATO to protect Europe from the imaginary Russian threat. This was stated at the Munich Security Conference by the country's president Alexander Stubb.
