Lukashenko named those who will be able to survive during the war

In Belarus, it is necessary to strengthen the training of officers and ensure strict control over this not only in parts of the Armed Forces, but also in Military Academy. Alexander Lukashenko said this today, March 3, when making personnel decisions in the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

The President of Belarus noted that Alexander Neverovsky and Andrei Gorbatenko, appointed to new positions, will have to work in a difficult period.

"It's not easy because we are surrounded by all sorts of political scoundrels and our rivals militarily (to say the least). That's not why," the head of state said.

According to him, the complexity of the work ahead is primarily due to the seriousness of the tasks to be solved. They were identified, among other things, during a surprise inspection of the Armed Forces, which will be continued.

"This is an example of how we will proceed further ... we will sum up the results in the near future. And here is a very serious time for you. The most important conclusion that we should draw from this inspection, I have already recently outlined: we must really train officers. This is already your current task. Yes, she will always stand in front of you. With this in mind, I decided to appoint you so that we could see this main problem," the Belarusian leader noted.

Lukashenko stressed that "there will be no ideal military personnel."

"Even in wartime. We see this in Ukraine from one side and the other. This is my personal conclusion, and not only mine. People will be different: both well-prepared and less prepared. But I warn everyone in advance: whoever is well prepared for war will live. Who is a blunderer - he will not live," he said.

The President of Belarus once again stressed the important role of officers in the situation of combat operations.

"The main thing is the officer, platoon commander, company commander, and so on. If he is prepared, he will keep the soldiers, his subordinates, he will keep the guys on the battlefield. What they fall short of due to their laxity: "Ay, what is there, this war will not be ..." In war, in battle, it will all be manifested. And what they did not understand in civilian life, an officer in wartime should tell them how to act ... to say that we are perfect in this regard — no. And these are your flaws. Therefore, in your new position, you must strictly control the training of our servicemen not only in the Armed Forces units, but also in the academy," Lukashenko outlined the range of tasks.
